With a history of over 35 years in free flight,
The site of Mount Lachens, 1715 m high, nicknamed the "Roof of the Var" is located at the crossroads of the Verdon,
of the Alpes Maritimes and the Alpes de Hautes Provence. It offers an exceptional 360° view from the Mediterranean to the Alps via the Mercantour.
The latter offers four different take-off directions with gradients ranging from 450m to 720m. The Lachens is close to other free flight sites that the more experienced among you can discover in our Evasion package.
Our experienced instructors will pass on their passion for paragliding to you and you will never want to go without.
The paragliding school
UCPA du Lachens offers the following
services :
learn how to fly a paraglider.
Depending on your level : beginners' courses, intermediate and more advanced courses, siv...), to become a seasoned paragliding pilot and fly safely.
- The training includes a practical part (training hill, ground-handling), and theoretical courses (flight mechanics, flight plan ...).
- Within a few days, you will be achieving your first paragliding solo flight, under supervision of your paragliding instructors.
- The paragliding gear is included in the training (harness, wing...).
