Freedom Paragliding is a paragliding school in Puy de Dôme (Auvergne) created in 2014.
We offer paragliding flights to the top of the Puy de Dôme in two-seater tandem all year round with different flight options.
From the 15-minute discovery flight to the adrenaline flight that gives rise to beautiful acrobatic figures or the long flight that never ends, via the children's flight that allows even the youngest to fly, at Freedom, we have a type of first flight that is made for you.
As an FFLV approved school, we also offer a complete training programme which starts with an introductory course, followed by a progression course and an improvement and piloting course. With Freedom you will learn to fly autonomously and above all with maximum safety.
Freedom Paragliding is also an equipment shop that allows you to easily complete your equipment by taking advantage of professional advice on a wide range of products such as canopies, harnesses, rescue parachutes, radio accessories, helmets, varios and much more.
And let's not forget the paraglider overhaul/repair workshop so that you always have a healthy glider over your head. The paraglider check is ideal for checking the condition of a second-hand glider, and we also adjust it if it has moved from the manufacturer's specifications.
The paragliding school
Freedom Paragliding offers the following
services :
First, paragliding tandem flights, to discover the activity safely, with a professional (certified) instructor.
After a briefing, your instructor will equip you for your first flight.
Remember to dress accordingly for this unforgettable experience (at least a windbreaker, good shoes or sneakers, possibly sunglasses). Sensations guaranteed !
the tandem flight :
- Different options are available when flying (mainly the duration of the flight varies), according to the conditions and your desires, from the contemplative top-to-bottom flight to stronger sensations ; thermal flight, distance flight (cross-country), possibly with aerobatics.
- Your instructor will have a GoPro to record your feats, you leave the experience with some good memories (photos and videos).
- Also available : Gift vouchers . An original present for a birthday, or a bachelor(ette) party.
- Free-flying is weather-dependant. For your safety, the flight may be cancelled / postponed.

Depending on your level : beginners' courses, intermediate and more advanced courses, siv...), to become a seasoned paragliding pilot and fly safely.
- The training includes a practical part (training hill, ground-handling), and theoretical courses (flight mechanics, flight plan ...).
- Within a few days, you will be achieving your first paragliding solo flight, under supervision of your paragliding instructors.
- The paragliding gear is included in the training (harness, wing...).
