With 30 years of experience our school welcomes you to our sites in Bourg Saint Mauriceof Peisey Vallandry and des Arcs. During a tandem flight or a training course we will make you discover our passion for paragliding.

Our school has the EFVL label issued by the French Federation of Free Flight, guaranteeing you quality teaching and approved equipment that we renew every year.
For several years we have been offering single surface paragliding courses, this year we are completing the offer with the Ultra-Light mountain courses, very light equipment for all those who want to experience the mountain in a different way.
From 28 April to 30 September we offer introductory and advanced courses at all levels every week, contact us to book.
Attention We only accept a maximum of seven students per week, so it is important to book your place as soon as possible as we turn away students every week.
Our 100% quality commitmentsMaximum 7 students per group, one new 2022 model equipment per student (helmet, harness, parachute and paraglider), recent vehicles in good condition.
A small gesture for the planet: In the summer season we use the ski lifts to get to the take-offs, to limit the number of cars on the roads and reduce our carbon footprint, also for the comfort of our students.

In partnership with Arc Aventures whose offices we share, you will also be able to practice during your holidays all the outdoor mountain activities, white water on the Isère, the acro-branch course, canyoning, and in winter the ski courses and snowshoe walks proposed by the ESI.
The paragliding school
Des Arcs Paragliding School offers the following
services :
First, paragliding tandem flights, to discover the activity safely, with a professional (certified) instructor.
After a briefing, your instructor will equip you for your first flight.
Remember to dress accordingly for this unforgettable experience (at least a windbreaker, good shoes or sneakers, possibly sunglasses). Sensations guaranteed !
the tandem flight :
- Different options are available when flying (mainly the duration of the flight varies), according to the conditions and your desires, from the contemplative top-to-bottom flight to stronger sensations ; thermal flight, distance flight (cross-country), possibly with aerobatics.
- Your instructor will have a GoPro to record your feats, you leave the experience with some good memories (photos and videos).
- Also available : Gift vouchers . An original present for a birthday, or a bachelor(ette) party.
- Free-flying is weather-dependant. For your safety, the flight may be cancelled / postponed.

learn to fly by single-skin :
If you are planning to hike up, climb up or even climb down (hiking flight), with a reduced footprint and weight.

Depending on your level : beginners' courses, intermediate and more advanced courses, siv...), to become a seasoned paragliding pilot and fly safely.
- The training includes a practical part (training hill, ground-handling), and theoretical courses (flight mechanics, flight plan ...).
- Within a few days, you will be achieving your first paragliding solo flight, under supervision of your paragliding instructors.
- The paragliding gear is included in the training (harness, wing...).
This paragliding school offers outings away from the usual practice setting.
It can be a touring course, over several days, to discover other take-offs and landings.
And sometimes even outside our borders. This is often an opportunity to continue flying off-season (e.g. Morocco, Nepal, South Africa, Mexico) …
